Position: Customer Account Manager

Location: Pasadena, CA (Headquarters)

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who shares our passion and has a particular set of characteristics: detail-oriented, dedicated, and organized. The person must also possess the expertise and temperament to hold conversations with our target customers, university faculty members, departmental administrators, and instructional designers. The Account Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of MobLab games and experiments and utilize this knowledge to successfully create a scalable strategy to package MobLab with our partners.
  • Build long-term, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers through instructor training, and post-use customer interviews.
  • Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and channel partners and be available and responsive to their real-time needs.
  • Work effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success) to continuously refine lead qualification criteria and ideal customer model.
  • Enter and maintain account data and notes in our CRM in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Economics or Business related field.
  • Temperament to communicate with target customers (energetic, but listens first).
  • Be proactive and willing to go the extra mile for exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to travel 20%. Work full time at our office when not on the road.

Extra Credit

  • Master’s Degree in Economics.
  • Background in Experimental or Behavioral Economics.
  • Studied psychology and/or education.
  • Sales or account management experience.

Position: 2D Game Artist/Jr. Graphic Designer

Location: Pasadena, CA (Headquarters)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented and Mobile Game Artist that create new art, and match the current style of our games and platform. You will join the design team tasked with adding content for our rapidly growing game library. The role will have the following responsibilities:

  • Work with game designers and content team to create wireframes and develop game concepts for future projects.
  • Design assets that are complement the brand’s style.
  • Create highly functional interface layouts and designs.
  • Create assets from scratch in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of color theory, UX/UI, concept sketching, and storyboarding.
  • Basic understanding of animation principles.
  • Desire to continually sharpen artistic abilities through independent learning, and/or learning from other team members.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to take constructive criticism.
  • Strong traditional drawing and rendering abilities.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Extra Credit

  • Assist with marketing, instructor training, and post-use customer interviews.
